UICT (USUI International Corporation (Thailand) Ltd.) won a gold prize of “Thailand 5S Award 2010” sponsored by Technology Promotion Association (Thailand - Japan) at first participation.

This award was evaluated through two audits and two presentations beginning in July 2010. The names of the awarded companies were reported in The Southeast Asian edition of The Yomiuri Shimbun.

USUI group has promoted improvement activities of 5S from the beginning with original point of view as we believe 5S is the soil of a plant to cultivate safety, quality and productivity.

This award is a result of our steady effort of improvement activities.

This honorable award encourages us and strengthens our efforts to continue improving our customer satisfaction.

We, USUI KOKUSAI SANGYO KAISHA, LTD. have made and entered into a Technical Assistance Agreement on March 16, 2010 for Fan Drive^® with Lucas-TVS Limited which has a head office in Chennai, India and manufactures Electric components for automotive.

Lucas-TVS Limited will be able to meet the increased demands of fan clutch in the Indian expanding automotive market with stable supply and work for improvement of customer satisfaction through this technical assistance with USUI.

Isuzu Supllier Group convened “Isuzu Supplier Group 2010 Annual General Meeting” on April 23, 2010 and UICT (USUI International Corporation (Thailand) Ltd.) took double awards for Year 2009 as Best Delivery Awards and Car Sales Promotion Awards from IMCT(Isuzu Motors Co., (Thailand) Ltd.).

Best Delivery Awards is given to a best supplier with no-delay delivery and no-wrong parts delivery. UICT was picked for the first time. We are proud of our achievement that we made no negative impact for IMCT's manufacturing line due to no late delivery & no wrong parts delivery throughout the year in 2009.

Also, UICT topped with 88 points among a total of 171 suppliers for Car Sales Promotion Award. UICT was given this award in year 2003 for the first time making this the seventh year in a row.

This award has been accomplished by cooperation between all UICT staff and our vendors under the severe economic condition in year 2009, making it an especially valuable award for us.

Supplier Meeting in year 2009 was held at TMAP-EM (Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd.) on March 12, 2010. Among all 154 suppliers in Thailand that supply to Thai and ASEAN, both winner and runner up were awarded for quality, delivery, cost and comprehensive. UICT (USUI International Corporation (Thailand) Ltd.) was selected as a Runner Up (*1) in Quality. UICT is very pleased due to our outcome of routine quality control activity.

UICT will continue to improve to become Winner of Outstanding Performance Supplier in Quality, at the same time, aim to be awarded in Delivery, Cost, and Comprehensive awards.
