USUI exhibited in Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) sponsorship “Automotive Parts Procurement Exhibition 2013” held in Chennai, India from November 26 to 27.
90 companies, including 46 Japanese companies, in India displayed for this exhibition. The number of the guests recorded during the exhibition was approximately 1,200. Our booth had a visit from many visitors and received precious opinions and demands. We sincerely appreciate your interest in USUI.

USUI and UICT (USUI International Corporation (Thailand) Ltd.) has been awarded “2013 GM Supplier Quality Excellence Award”. This honor is awarded to the suppliers which General Motors recognizes as top level quality performance providers based on its global supplier quality assessment during the 12 months ending June 30, 2013.
This is the first time for USUI to win this award and second time for UICT following last year's, making it even more honorable to receive. Encouraged by this award, USUI reaffirms its commitment to maintaining and improving quality globally.

We held a completion ceremony for integrated plant of plating and brazing in UICT in August, 2013.
The new plant is an integrated production line with automatic equipment of a wide variety of plating; in addition, processing in the brazing process or plating process alone is available.
We are now ready to respond quickly to the demand of the Thai market. Please stay tuned.

In June 2013, USUI HEFEI (USUI PIPE SYSTEM (HEFEI) CO., LTD.) held a groundbreaking ceremony at the construction site of Economic and Technological Development Zone in Hefei-City, Anhui, China.
The Development Area Administrative Committee and many other participants were in attendance to witness this exciting event.
In the new plant, we will produce steel tubes for tubular products for transportation equipment with an aim to start operations in 2014.

In May 2013, UIMM (Usui International Manufacturing Mexico, S.A. de C.V.) held the groundbreaking ceremony at the construction site of Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico.
It was successfully held in the presence of Deputy Director-General of GTO Development Bureau, the Mayor of Silao city and all the other participants.
We have begun full-scale development to aim at the start of mass production in August 2014.
In the new plant, we will produce various automotive pipes including fuel injection tubes for diesel engines.

We are pleased to announce that USUI Foshan (USUI Automotive Part(Foshan) Co., Ltd.) has begun the operation of No.2 Plant in June 2013.
In this plant, we produce engine parts of fuel-efficient cars whose volume will be expected to increase in China.
We aim to expand our business further and will continue to contribute to Chinese society and Chinese automobile industries.

UIC (USUI International Corporation) and UICT (USUI International Corporation (Thailand) Ltd.) has been selected as 2012 GM Supplier of the year, in the powertrain category. The award ceremony was held in Detroit, Michigan, USA, on 13 March, 2013 and USUI group won supplier award from General Motors following last year's Supplier Quality Excellence Award.
This award was given to less than 1% of GM's approximately 18,500 suppliers around the world, based on recognition for delivering global quality assurance activity, technical and cost competitive solution and timely crisis management.
Having been honored by the prestigious award from one of our most important customers, USUI reaffirms its commitment to advancing technology and service in order to keep improving customer satisfaction.
