USUI conducted workplace training from October 13th to 16th, 2020 at the request of Shizuoka Prefectural Numazu Special Needs Education School for the Deaf.
At the Numazu Auditory Special Needs School, workplace training is planned as part of educational activities for future work life. The participating student worked on general office work training at the Global Information Systems Department.
The student who participated commented, "I understand that it is important to communicate because there were many things I could not understand at first."
We hope that this workplace training will help the student to choose his own career path.
USUI will continue to aim to contribute to the local community through these activities, and will continue to work toward the realization of a diverse society.

We have been constructing a new office building since December 2018 with the aim of streamlining operations through functional offices and revitalizing employee communication. The new office building has been completed and the opening ceremony was held on October 14, 2020.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mayor of Shimizu-cho and other related parties.
The new office building is a base for technology and creativity of Global USUI. USUI CO., LTD. will continue to make efforts to contribute to the local community through its business activities.

On July 29, 2020, we held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Izu-Ema Plant with the attendance of the mayor of Izunokuni and participants at the construction site in Izunokuni City.
At the new plant, we will primarily produce functional Electronically Controlled Fan Drive products, and strive to build a production system to provide them domestically and internationally.

February 20, 2020, USUI SUSIRA INTERNATIONAL PVT. LTD. held a ceremony to commemorate the ground breaking ceremony of the new plant at Mahindra Industrial Park in northern part of Chennai.
The new factory will handle the rapidly increasing demand of the Indian automotive market, new GDI business, and cutting to end forming process of under chassis pipes. In addition, at this location five existing plants will be integrated to improve efficient factory operations and manufacturing costs, and we will work hard to meet customer requests.

On January 24th 2020, "USUI Purchase Policy Briefings" were held at the convention center in Numazu City.
Thanks to many suppliers' participation, we were able to explain the global business plan, purchase quality policy, and global procurement policy.
In addition, we presented "Supplier of the Year Award" to the excellent and cooperative suppliers which were based on QCDSM comprehensive evaluation of 2019.
